My Tasks – Pending Requests
This page displays all pending tasks assigned to the user in the MAC (Maersk Application Catalogue) system. These tasks typically involve reviewing and acting on change requests related to application metadata, such as platform changes/Ownership Request/Data Issues.
Purpose
To enable approvers to review and take action on requested changes efficiently. Each task includes necessary context such as the requester, application details, old and new values, remarks, and request date.
Table Overview
| Column | Description |

| Request Type | The type of request (e.g., Platform Change). |
| Requested By | Name of the user who initiated the request. |
| Application Name | The name of the application for which the change is requested |
| Old Value | The current value in the system before the change. |
| New Value | The value proposed or requested. |
| Remarks/Comments | Additional notes or justification provided by the requester. |
| Requested Date | The date on which the request was made. |
| Action | Allows the user to approve (✅) or reject (❌) the request. |
Actions
- ✅ Approve – Click to approve the request.
- ❌ Reject – Click to reject the request with a comment.
- 🔗 Application Name – Opens the detailed view of the application for context before action.
Usage Guidelines
- Review both the Old Value and New Value before making a decision.
- Always check the Remarks/Comments field for context or references (e.g., platform codes like PLA049).
- Ensure the Requested By user is authorized to make such requests before approving.
Notes
- All actions taken here are auditable and will move requests from the Pending to the Completed tab.
- This view helps ensure timely processing of platform updates to maintain data consistency and governance.
