Request
A Request is an event triggered in MAC by a user or stakeholder to initiate a specific action or change within MAC specific to an application. The request follows a predefined workflow to ensure it is processed efficiently and effectively.
Request Type
- Data Issue:
- A request to address problems or inconsistencies with data within the application. This could involve data correction, validation, or integrity checks.
- Any user in Maersk can raise a Data Issue.
- Only one data issue can be raised at a given point of time.
- Request Ownership:
- A request to transfer or confirm ownership of an application. This ensures that the correct individual or team is responsible for the application's maintenance and support.
- Any user in Maersk can raise Request Ownership.
- Onboard Application:
- A request to add a new application to the MAC. By default application is registered with the application name, ownership info, and other information but is subject to be Rejected by the Owner's reporting Manager.
- Verification:
- A request to verify the accuracy and completeness of application details or data. This ensures that all information is correct and up-to-date.
- Its system generates periodic requests.
- Platform Change:
- A request to make changes to the platform on which the application is hosted.
- Only the application owner can raise this request.
