What to expect from the latest MAC release?

Approximately 3500 active applications will be available on MAC at go-live, imported from the existing Enterprise Application Catalogue (EAC)

EAC Integration:

Complete integration with EAC. From June 24th onwards, EAC will disable the new application onboarding and approval workflow, with Application IDs being allocated automatically within the MAC. The remaining fields in the EAC will remain editable whilst new destinations for these fields is finalized over the next few MAC releases.

API-Based Integration:

Clients within the larger TSE and Maersk ecosystem such as MDP, MTTS, CMDB, SALT, Archer etc, can utilize our API-based approach to create/get applications in/from MAC.

Application Metrics:

The MAC will provide clear metrics on the number of applications, including a breakdown of active and inactive applications. Application Count and Active and Inactive Application

Search Functionality:

Enhanced search capabilities allow you to search by App Name, Application Owners, Platform, or Portfolio for efficient navigation and management

Application Criticality:

Introduction of an MVC, CIS and Shared Services indicator for displaying application criticality.

Target Decommissioning Date:

A field for setting the target decommissioning date of applications, ensuring accurate lifecycle management

Clear status categories for applications: Active – Running application Inactive – Decommissioned/retired/no development started Rejected – Invalid application data rejected by Platform Owner or EA
