Highlights
1. Enforce Timely Strategic Intent Assessment for New Applications
To enhance data quality and application lifecycle accountability, newly created applications now default to "To Be Assessed" for their Strategic Intent field. After a 90-day period, users are required to update this field to a different value before saving or updating the application, ensuring timely review and preventing indefinite inaction.
2. Validation for Strategic Intent "Invest"
Implemented a validation rule to prevent users from setting a Target Decommissioning Date when the Strategic Intent is marked as "Invest". This ensures data consistency and accurately reflects the application's investment strategy, preventing conflicting lifecycle information.
3. Validation for Strategic Intent "Migrate" and "Eliminate"
Introduced validation to ensure a Target Decommissioning Date is mandatory when the Strategic Intent is set to "Migrate" or "Eliminate". This enforces data integrity by aligning the application's strategic direction with required lifecycle milestones.
4. Include UID/APM ID in Application Owners API Response
Enhanced the ‘Retrieve All Applications’ API to include UID/APM ID alongside existing email and displayName in the owners field. This update enables more flexible and accurate owner mapping with external systems like Saviynt IGA, supporting multiple identifiers based on integration needs.
5. Publish Label Changes to Retina via Kafka
Enabled automatic publishing of application label changes to Retina. This ensures that updates are consistently propagated to downstream systems, supporting real-time data synchronization.
6. Display Associated Labels on Application Page
Updated the Application Home Page UI to display all associated labels for an application. This provides users with immediate visibility into key categorizations, improving clarity and context during application review.
7. Enhanced Label Search and Filter API
Introduced the ability to search labels by name and filter records using the label API. This improvement streamlines data retrieval and enhances user experience when navigating or querying label-related information.
8. Reminder System for Elapsed Target Decommission Dates
Implemented an automated reminder system to notify application owners when the Target Decommissioning Date has passed. This ensures timely action is taken to update the application status, supporting accurate lifecycle tracking and governance.
